PLANNING:
I chose to analyse the Bladerunner poster because it inspires me creatively in designing my own work. Like my trailer for The Damned, the world in which the protagonist moves is a dark world. The Bladerunner society is fragmented with destructive social inequality and class divisions. Synthetic humans (termed ‘replicants’), are designed to simulate humans and, worse, who believe that they are human yet are treated as slaves so pose a threat. In my film world, a detective is on a quest to solve a cold case. It takes him to the doorstep of a dangerous cult, a group of people who hide on the margins of society.
The poster for the film BR evokes 1950s film noir in that it features a solitary central protagonist, a detective that sets out to engage in a quest, and features a ‘femme fatale’ figure who compromises the replicant hunter.

CONSTRUCTION:
Following this plan, I needed a photoshoot of all the characters, background and additional imagery to construct the poster. I managed to capture a variety of poses and angles to ensure I had no restrictions on what I could create.
FEEDBACK:
I recieved constructive critisism and praise for my poster and I used these critisisms to edit my poster and produce a final piece.
